The highly anticipated Touch Dual from HTC is now available for purchase at Best Buy.

Set as a pre-order only for a few weeks, the device can now be purchased unlocked for $549.99 without a commitment. The phone packs a powerful punch with the TouchFLO user interface and the slide out keypad. Although the European version was released initially, it lacked the US frequencies for 3G and was a tri-band phone. The US version is a quad-band bearing phone with the 3G frequencies (850/1900Mhz) that will work on AT&T’s network, utilizing the high speeds of UMTS/HSDPA. Pre-installed is the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system which supports all the smart phone capabilites of email, MSN and internet browsing. The camera resolution is 2MP yet without a flash to support it.
