The Huawei M750 touchscreen device has surfaced for MetroPCS, with launch set for today or tomorrow depending on market.
The M750 was previously revealed by the FCC earlier this year and features tri-band CDMA support, Bluetooth and a 1.3 megapixel camera along with microSDHC expansion slot. Pricing is set at $199.99.
Update: MetroPCS has launched the phone online at the aforementioned price.

I recently purchased the Huawei M750, but when I connect it to the computer it needs a software to run through. Is it only because I have indows Vista or was the phone supposed to come with a software disc?

i just got this phone its not bad took about 30 min to get used to the touch screen. its no g1 but for the price it is a great phone .the cam is nice. other than that it its nice

I just got the phone yesterday. its pretty good for what it is.
It doesnt require the smart phone plan. that should tell you what you can and can not do. so No youtube. no “real” web experience, just mobile web.
I did not receive a software disk, so i have no idea what to do with the usb cord it came with other than charge it with my computer.
I didnt like the touchscreen at first, but i quickly adapted. Interface is very intuitive. I did not feel frustrated for the first 5 min of using it like most phones. The software is pretty quick to respond to activate actions.
im new to metro pcs and like the navigation feature. its slow, but better than being lost.
you dont know need a cd to upload things on your phone just got to my computer and select the E:/ drive the swith items from your documents to the first to envelopes my music and my images. I got mine yesterday its a good phone so far. keyboard on screen is small but everything is good

of course you can browse the web, but its mobile web. so the resolution will stay at 320 and you cant resize it so it display s properly. its ok i guess. just dont expect any real efficient browsing.

@chris – Yes it does. but it seems to loose gps tracking very easily and wont try to find the signal again unless you back out and search again.

LWS is still planned to be launched next year.
Huawei does not have HTML web browsing. Just like the majority of our other phones you enter MetroWeb and you browse the internet through Google.
My wife traded in her Samsung slider for the Huawei M750 and she’s loving it. I’m looking for software to interface it with our laptops or desktop but overall its a great phone out of the box. Its very easy to use, comes with multiple chargers and USB. The only drawback is not having a software to interface with a PC.
Ive had this phone for a mouth and i likeit so far, it works pretty well. The internet its fast but its not full html so some sites dont work well. It would be good if somebody would get a software to be able to make the phone be full html, the only problem about the phone is that its not windows based, but its an android phone and everything else work great such as pictures, apps, and the keyboard in the touchscreen are great and precise when you have a big fingers like i do. From 1 to 10 i would give it a 9

i going to buy one of the huawei m750. im very scepticle about buying it. especially since they dont have a phone i could actually try out on display. and i would love to watch youtube on the phone if possible. Should i Buy one. please let me know asap someone.
I would not recommend this phone. It sucks. It does not have any of the simple things that the other phones have. such as tip calculator, speaker phone(i read the manual and it does not have it). The navigator is not on it. How do you get it? to save a picture you have to go through a process to save it because there isn’t a buttonthat says save picture. the web browsing is the same as and other non full html phone. It sucks for its capabilities. it does no get good signal, as most metro phones but this one seems the worst. the entire voice cuts out. the camera is only 1.3 mp so you would expect to be weak.it does not come with a sd card only a usb when the phone only has 32mb of built in memory. which means it will run very slow after you put in some photos. so remember to erase your messages and not store too much on it. I am returning mine later on this week. I am very dissappointed. But hey-THERE IS A NEW SAMSUNG FTOUCH SCREEN COMING OUT SOON TO REPLACE THE FINESSE!!!! i saw it on one of the metro staff who is testing it. so far so good. It looks alot better too!

Artronious, don’t get this phone. no video capabilities whatsoever. For me the biggest disappointment.
The big screen is worthless and makes everything pointless. No video for a big screened touch phone, why? so i can see my cruddy pictures bigger? meh. I wish i bought an entry level phone, or bought the finesse. There is no point to this phone other than desperately having a touch screen phone. I naively thought this would have video capabilities, at least for me to load my own videos. but no. my LG CU500 phone from 4 years a go, was a much closer to a smart phone than this one. I got jipped for $200.
I just got the phone and love it. Not bad for $200.
On a separate note, congratulations to those of you on this thread who actually know how to spell and use correct grammar.
UC BErekeley Student there is a speaker phone. When you call someone you will see an icon on the screan that looks like a speaker, just touch it. Very simple and easy to use. There is a regular calculator on the phone. Not sure if I would count not having a tip calculator as a reason not to by a phone.

hey everyone i just got the phone its pretty cool! touch screen is east to get used to and it does not come with a disk to link to pcs. no software needed. just access settings, go to connectivity and go to usb. it will prompt you to activate and voala!! u can just dump pics and mp3 songs into the phone like you would a flash drive!! and if u buy the phone you get a 2gb SDmicro card for free!! i did. overall its a good phone in my opinion! =]

There is no cd for the usb connection but once you connect the cord to your pc, you need to go to setting on your phone and on your D pad, scroll over 3 times and you should be under connectivity setting, click on “USB Mode” and then activate and it will allow you to store information on your micro card. I had this phone for a week and i love the phone and the pricing of $25 per month and not having the feeling of a big company that took advantage of me every month.
Downside to this phone is that the web browsing is limited, no video recording either…however ALOT OF THINGS STATED ON HERE ABOUT THE PHONE ARE UNTRUE. @ell and @deaner Yes it does have speed dial, u access it thru the menu, contacts, #6 says “Speed Dial” and u set the numbers there, yes u can view ur photos full screen, rite under the photo is a small icon for the expansion option, hit that and its full screen, drag ur finger across the screen to browse @UC BErekeley Student it does have speaker phone, it is accessible when u are on a call, u have a speaker icon the phone, as far as tip calculator, multiply ur bill by .15, thats the tip.for navigator go to the “@” icon and in the mobile shop ull find the free navigation app, and the photos automatically save, there is no saving process u have to go thru, OVERALL AWESOME PHONE FOR THE PRICE AND FOR SOME ONE WHO IS WILLING TO GET TO KNOW THEIR PHONE.

in order to connect your phone to the computer you need to have a micro sd card in your phone.
I have a sd card and it says that it has synchronized with my computer but when I try to play the media player there are no songs there. can someone help me?
changed phone. motorolla hint is much better. if you are seeking a touch screen i suggest getting an ipod touch. you can surf the web in full html unlike that phone. and both have a lot more memory. make sure you get insurance on that phone because there alot of complaints coming up on the software.
how can i download songs onto it? and is there T9text or predict-a-text?
To use the speed dial set the numbers by going under Contacts->Speed Dial. Then when you go the the key pad where you dial numbers just hold down the number of signed number/person for a couple of seconds and it should start dialing then. Just started messing around with it and figured it out because I need speed dial!
Overall I think the phone is great considering the price of the phone itself and your bill on it will probably never go over $70! I just hate the horrible quality of the camera ;P

The camera quality is very horrible esp. comparing to my last phone. Like a 4 on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the worst. No youtube. The web browsing isn’t like iphones. The qwerty keyboard is better for girls because the buttons are pretty small. I love it overall and so does a lot of people who play with it. You can’t have text messaging on vibrate and calls on a ring tone which is a bummer. Oh and a plus I get way better service with this phone then with my last phone which is surprising!
lol you don’t sync the computer to the chip you sync the chip to the phone. then you treat the phone like a flash drive and just dump your music into it. and yes i agree the cam is horrible and that the video capabilities suck but i have my ringtone set for vibrate and ring it rings for my ringer and vibrates for my nessages
OK let me give everyone the low down. since people seem to keep leaving the same message over and over again.
-There is no CD to sync with you computer, yes it works like a flash drive, where you either have to wait for it to sync as a memory card being read on you PC or manually do it.
-There is speed dialing, you have to normally add it in through your contacts and activate it like any other phone by press and holding the number of choice on the dial screen (this was settled along time ago Donnalisa, reading is your friend)
-No VIDEO AT ALL on this phone. so forget about adding any AVIs, MOVs, MP4s or anything like that to watch on your phone.
-You can add all the MP3 music you want however, I’ve only added a 2GB micro card, I am unsure how much you can actually load, maybe 8GB? One thing I noticed, I used up 70% of my memory card’s capacity and noticed that the phone will run slower at times, like when recieving calls or doing normal duties like viewing messages or viewing pictures.
-Internet is slow, but should be expected. There is no real internet on this phone, as it has been stated many times before, JUST MOBILE BROWSING. unfortunately that means no images will be viewed on the phone. You can do google searches, but it wont be the most efficient as it could be. This is a touch screen phone where you should be able to utilize a bigger screen that a phone would normally have with actual buttons, but I guess Huawei was just focusing on a market where people were desperate to have mobile phone that is touch screen for no reason.
-Email works great. My only and biggest gripe I have with it is that you can’t view any attachments whatsoever. I wish I could view compatible pictures that my friends send me in an email, but no. This also means No PDFs or any other type of attachment files whatsoever.
-IMs no comment as I use gchat- so to anyone who uses gchat or skype IM is not for you.
-Camera is crappy. Its about as good as any other standard camera phone. dont ever expect it to compare to a normal point and shoot digital camera.
-No games to add on the phone at least through the memory card. I don’t want to pay for the crappy Metro Games. I’m sure they suck, but if anyone has tried them, review it here.
-Navigation works fine. when the network gets spotty, it looses your location. It is run on Mapquest technology. my opinion it blows. interface isnt the most usefull, when you need to do something usefull it makes you reload every time. I wish there was an option to just view the directions by text, turn for turn. But something like that would be too complicated for Mapquest and MetroPCS.
-When listening to music, you can use the button on the headset to skip to the next song.
-Touchscreen keypad/keyboard. It kinda sucks. well, its ok if you want to use the stylus and hunt and pick for your buttons, but i personally dont like that. I have mine calibrated so that it can estimate what button to press for texts when my big fingers press the phone. it is not at all close to what it would be if i used something precise like the stylus.
-For those who purchased/will purchase this phone, I suggest to keep the protection plastic on the phone and just get a razor or sharp scissors to cut off the little tab so you can use that as your screen protector. This should save you some $ and protect your phone. I managed to smooth out all the bubbles.
I cant think of anything else to say about this phone. It works for what it does, but I think i could have spent my money else where on a phone with the same features minus the touch screen aspect. I really cant think of any reason to buy this phone unless you want the status of having a big, clunky mp3/touch screen phone.

I have a Huawei m750 and the touchscreen just quit in it last night. I have no insurance on the phone so I know that I am really screwed, AND to top it I just threw the manual to the phone away two days ago…karma, huh? ANY WAYS…does anyone have a clue how to fix the touchscreen so it works again?
i bought 2 of the phones and have no problem at all,granted it does not have video but that was a feature we could live without.as for the speaker phone ,it does have one but it is not explained in the manual.
JENI,these phones come with a one year warranty unless you have had it longer then that and i don’t think you have.as for the screen protector’s,the one’s we bought were made of a very hard plastic and fit quite well with no bubbles.i am sure they had problems with the early models but i must say i am very impressed with the phone.
Anyone know what OS this is running? If we know what OS this runs we can possible find better software for it. It would be nice if this phone could be flashed to have google android! That would make this a great phone!!

I know! I really don’t understand why they would release this nice phone with such a limited OS. If android is out there why would you not use it, I mean it’s been past beta for a long time and I’m sure they could have gotten it on there, but who knows the logic behind these guys. They sit at their board meetings and look at each other and say “Yea we’ll release a iphone style phone for metropcs for $200, but you know what we’ll limit the OS so they can’t install anything making the phone obsolete withing a few months.” The worst part is there is nowhere on the web or in the manuals where it says what OS it runs! At least if we knew that we could figure something out and develop some apps for it.

@deanr : The phone supports up to a 4gb card. it wont do 8 ( that sucks =-( ) also the navigation does have text style turn by turn directions. just go to plan a trip, and do a gps starting location, fill in your destination, and set it to dashboard. after you start the nav, press the right direction on the circle selectorand it shows the arrow of the turn, the distance untill you have to make that turn, the road you should be on before you make the turn and also tells you the delay you might incounter becuase of traffic and its all in text =-) although the only drawback is that when the nav is telling you the directions and your having to turn on a S.R. ( state road ) the nav says to turn such and such way on ” senior ” lol thought that was pretty funny… also after a few days of playing with the touch screen calibration wizard, i finally got it to where i dont need the stylus so i can just use my fingers on the midget sized keyboard. really do wish the metro man would have told me there was no html browser and no videos/recorder/youtube. bought the phone and have to wait to get a new one now lol. my ol lady got samsung’s version of the B.B. and its very nice. not a touch screen thought but the number of apps greatly outnumbers the huawei 750s apps that you can download for free =-( if your reading this metropcs or huawei, please add more apps for the m750, prefferably skyfire 1.0 and Nimbuzz. or make the next metro touchscreen have a windows platform!!!!!

If you are in desperate need of a touch screen phone then get this phone. I strongly advise you to sve up your money and get the samsung finesse. At least thy can watch YouTube videos. My brother just got this phone and inwas messing aroud with it. First it doesn’t even feel like a phone. It feels plastic. Second sending text messages is confusing. I’m sure once you get used to it then you might enjoy it. Last there is nothi special about this phone beside a touh screen. I’ve seen better non touh screen phones than this. If your going to buy a touch screen dot be cheap. Save up and at least buy te finesse. At least that can do more than this phone.
I got this for Christmas.. (I picked it) and after I started using it I was a little bit irritated with it until I came on here and found out how to use the speed dial and the speaker phone.. Other than that I love this phone.. If I want to take videos I will use my camcorder or camera.. If I want to do heavy internet surfing I will use my laptop.. otherwise I can take photos do basic web and texting.. I love this phone!!! Oh and how about that blue background that it comes with.. and the ringer that sounds like the waves and seagulls?? Hmm.. pretty good for stock/standard stuff!!!

I bought this phone last week,,, actually is a great Phone…. but …. believe or not i have past days readings blogs on how to connect the danm phone on the computer… I have a micro SD but the phone can’t read it , so i guess that is the why of the connection Problem… (or May be its not )

yes, the hw m750 is a seemingly nice phone, mainly because its a touch phone. on the other hand, the phone doesn’t really prove useful right now. there are no games to download, you can not download mp3 music and it has mp3 capabilities. the phone doesn’t do video, and that metroPC website, is nothing nut a boring stupor. there really isn’t any variety for the phone. I think rushing the phone through the market was a big mistake. I’ve only had the phone since this past february of this year and i’m not totaly dissatisfied, nor am i completely satisfied. the phone should hav atleast came along with some kind of software application. that @metro stuff isn’t an interest keeper at all. ” please MetroPCS, get with speed of life already. Your unlimited txt, talk and web plans are beautiful and affordable. now all thats needed are some resourceful apps, games, music and a nice video phone feature and that should either put you on top of the competition or along side the best mobile phones in the mrket.

Hey, I Got this Phone In January, And I think This Phone Suckss! It Has The Small Keypad, And You Can’t Turn It Sideways, Which I Am Used to The Rumor. And When I go to Veiw My Pictures It Takes F O R E V E R. This Phone Was Not Worth 200.00$. The Metro I Bought It From Put The Wrong Number In the Voice Mail System, So When I Hit 1 It Dials Someone Else’s Number And They Get Mad And Cuss Me Out. I Have Taken It to Get The Number Changed And It Doesn’t Work. The People Won’t Understand All The Problems, And Let Me Switch It For The Samsung Freeform, Or Some Cheap, Yet Some What Better Phone. The Day I got It The People I Bought It From Talked me Into Buying A Cover ( I Also Hate the Metro PCS Sign) So I bought A Cover, And A Week Later I Looked At My Phone And it Had Scratches All Over The Front Screen! And Another thing About Texting, When you Are Typing It Ticks Me Off When It Types The Letter Next to It. On A Scale From 1-10 I say 3

well,we bought 3 of them and had to take one back after 4 months and had no problems at all.i don’t know what problems you’re having but the minor problems we had was mostly because of us not being use to the phone.other then that,we like the phones.could they be better?yeh,could have a better camera,could have voice dialing but it does not and i’ll live with it.for $159.00 we got what we paid for.good luck
Never Again. ive had this phone for uhm….6 months. worst phone ever…really. it is truly crap. im sorry metro. Motorolas have always been the best.
This phone has gone to crap in the 7 months I have had it! It is completely out of alignment and needs calibration constantly! Some of the letters don’t even work anymore! I have to press the letter below the one I want! And letters are too small and you have to constantly correct text! The camera is nice but I can’t DL the pics to my PC! Save your 199.00 and find a better phone! Like Pamela above, I feel I was ripped off! Buy a phone you like on Ebay and have Metro UNLOCK it (they will if you use thier service).
There is a 1 year warranty and Metro offerred to get me a new phone and it cost me 10.00 S/H. But I seriously DO NOT want to use this phone anymore. I think I will sell it on Ebay for 100.00 as soon as I get it! Invest money in a PROVEN phone of qaulity and save yourself the headaches this phone will give you over the next year until you want to smash it against the wall!

well,i havt to admit i was wrong about this POS phone.we have 4 of them and after a few months 3 of them had the same problems,taking photos is out of the question,then the phone will ring and you can’t answer it and if you do have enough luck to take a photo the color is so bad you can’t tell what it is.went back to metro with the first 3 and was charged $10 a phone to get them replaced.they arrived and after a month the same crap.then the 4th one went bad doing the same as the other 3.took it back to metro,talked to a sales rep about exchanging the phone and getting some kind of credit,after all the pnone was not 6 mos old yet and with the problems with the other 3 again i said the phones are lemons and the rep says”i can give you the pnone # of the MFG and you can call and see if they will do anything for you or you can sell it on ebay and buy a new phone but you have to pay full price,we do not give refunds after 30 days.some customer service.i will not sell the phones to some one else and i will buy new phones.i have been with metro since the day they came to florida and never had a problem but this lemon
needs to be addressed after all the sad stories i’ve been reading.i’ll contact the state attorney general and see if something can be done,if not “ALL BUYERS OF THIS PHONE BEWARE”. and one more thing,when i called customer service and asked to talk to a super,i was told to leave my # and some one would get back to me,i forgot to ask when or what year,it’s been over a month.more, real good customer service!
You can’t expect to get a good quality phone from a ghetto company. I’m sure they know that there stuff is cheap and breaks easily. Thats why they don’t have refunds or trades. They wan. You to spend money on buying new phones at full price. Honestly just invest in a iphone or dried. Yes it is more expensive but it’s worth it
i should have gotton software with my phone. i think it’s a rip off that they have u to buy the phone and rip u off and not give u software that’s all wrong…hope ur happy metro

this phones sucks so bad, i got it yesterday, you gotta push it to scroll, and you cant just flick your fingers to scroll down, you gotta push the arrows on the screen, if i wasnt 13, still livin wit my parentz i would break this phone, cuz when you think (oh metro’s made a bad phone,boo hoo, they wont do it again), they go putting this up 4 sale, the kyocera domino(look it up), should cost more than this, other than 30 dollars, this phone should be 25 cents instead of $129. stupid metro pc shitt-ing in the toilet.

I got the phone at the beginning of this month for my birthday. And I complain to much it was a gift. but since i have gotten it has had it’s problems like my stylus would not stay in the phone it kept falling out, and when I got my SD card it was holding all my picture and music then once i put more music and pictures off my sisters computer and her phone some of my pictures and music wasnt showing up cause I over two hundred songs and a bunch of pictures on my card. Well I can only view like a hundred songs it dont give me all the artist that I have on there or all the songs from the artist that i do have, and wit my picture it will say that they are all there but it will not open some of them it says file cannot open and it has the names of the picture but where the picture usally shows up it has a question mark on it. I just dont get it cause when I put my card in the computer it shows all my pictures that I have down loaded from metro web pictures I took and were sent to me are all there and my music is all there too but n the phone they are not all there and I cant get it figured out how to hook it up to my pc and everybody who has tried to explain it they just make since to me so if sombody has the answer can u please help but be very clear so I can understand on how to do the steps thank you but other than that the phone is not that bad I just dont like the touch screen phones or really anything touch screen but other than that its a good phone
