iPhone Store Display Units Appear

Late this night, Apple Stores that operate 24/7 started to have iPhone display units installed. The units, which as of this reporting are still covered with translucent wrapping, are being installed. While clearly an iPhone, the units have very few details about their operation, as store employees are reluctant to even admit that they are indeed iPhone display units. Some readers report that the units will be activated remotely (via the display-unit’s built-in Ethernet connection to the internet, which will be used to broadcast updates to all display iPhone units at once).

However, it does provide readers with the first look at the display units, which are expected to be deployed at all Apple Store and most AT&T Store locations nationwide.
