The LG Lotus, famous for its square shaped design yet full functionality has done very well with Sprint for quite some time. Apparently, LG is going to release another Lotus in the Lotus 2, according to a MobileCrunch source. The Lotus 2 may come out in January of 2010, and will even feature an external touchscreen and the phone will also add support for 32GB microSD cards, compared to the original 12GB card support on the Lotus.
Pricing and further availability details are unknown at this time.

I wld def get it cause i love the 1st one but i wld appreciate being able to lock my text messages w/o lockin the whole phone, the inner screen shld def be touch screen and the 2 shld also have a purple phone and a better camera wld def be great…If it has all dat on top of the fetures of the original i wld get it the 1st day it drops.
