An LG executive has confirmed that the manufacturer will launch an 8.9 inch Android Tablet with Android 3.0 and a dual-core Nvidia Tegra chipset. The tablet is expected to launch in the first quarter of next year. This follows an announcement made earlier this summer by the manufacturer with the original intention to launch a tablet this year using Android 2.2 before deciding to delay the product.
