LogMeIn has released their long awaited iPhone and iPod touch client, Ignition. The application is the first native LogMeIn client for iPhone.
While LogMeIn did support an HTML-based browser inside of Safari, the experience was very poor and unreliable at best. This new client offers all the connection options of a native PC, including keyboard and mouse simulation.
The client does come at a price, at $29.99, it is three times Apple’s suggested high-end price-point for an app on the App Store.

I’ll definitely never pay that much. The LogMeIn.com site works fine on my iPod Touch, so why should I pay $40?
As a side note, if there was a free Live Mesh Remote Desktop app, that would negate the need to EVER use LogMeIn, in my mind.

Typo corrected. Keep in mind that Live Mesh does not (currently) support remote desktop on Macintosh systems. LogMeIn is still the only (modern) cross-platform managed remote desktop solution.
