The marketing collateral for the forthcoming MetroPCS version of the BlackBerry Curve 8530 has surfaced ahead of its launch this month confirming a $50 mail in rebate and key features.
As previously reported, the 8530 will feature AWS support and will replace the aged 8330 in the regional carrier’s smartphone lineup while being the first device to include a Wi-Fi radio.  Pricing has now been set at $279.99 before the aforementioned $50 mail-in rebate, bringing the total to $229.99.

This model should be available in all markets. By adding AWS, MetroPCS finally has a BlackBerry that is compatible with their newer-market antenna bands.
