  • Motorola Announces RAZR2

    Today in New York Motorola held a press event titled Motorola Launch to
    announce the successor to the RAZR. The RAZR2 V8 (GSM), V9 (W-CDMA),
    and V9m (CDMA) are the most feature packed Motorola phones ever
    conceived.

    Featuring a steel reinforced internal frame, cast aluminum hinge, JUIX
    operating system and user interface, glass-coated 2.0 inch external
    screen with haptics technology (vibrating feedback) built into the
    display and music player controls, 2.2 inch internal QVGA display,
    CrystalTalk noise cancellation technology, 2.0 GB internal
    memory (V8 and V9), microSD slot (V9m), Bluetooth 2.0 with support for
    every major profile (A2DP/AVRCP/HFP/HSP/OPP/FTP/OBEX/General
    Access/Printing/DUN) (V8 and V9).

    The phone also features voice prompts, microUSB with USB 2.0 and real-time speech dictation
    for email, text, and menu selections, Windows Media 11 DRM support,
    HTML browser with integrated Google Mobile Search, 2.0 megapixel camera
    with zoom and multi-shot feature, with a new real-time point to point
    video call feature in the V9.

    The phone is expected to launch in July for all versions.
