The E72 is a substantial upgrade over the E71 with S60 3rd Edition Feature Pack 2, an upgraded 5.0 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, 3.5mm headset jack, and a new optical mouse built into the directional pad for navigating and scrolling through menus.
Other features include built-in GPS with A-GPS support, Wi-Fi radio with WPA support, Bluetooth with stereo audio support, microSDHC expansion slot, and upgraded messaging/email clients. There will also be a tri-band US HSDPA 850/1900/2100 version for North America and is expected to launch by the end of the third quarter for $489.
The 5530 XpressMusic is intended to be a lower cost version of the 5800 with S60 5th Edition, a smaller 2.9-inch WHVGA touchscreen display, 3.2 megapixel camera with autofocus and flash, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and microSDHC expansion slot.
It also features Bluetooth with stereo audio support along with Wi-Fi, and is limited to EDGE data access. Availability is expected during the third quarter with no pricing information given at this time.
The 3710 Fold continues the line of feature-packed midrange clamshells and features tri-band HSDPA (with a US variant), 3.2 megapixel camera with flash, GPS support, media player and Series 40 5th Edition. The phone will be available in the fourth quarter with no pricing information given at this time.
