Nokia has instituted a charger exchange and recall program after discovering a fault in the AC-3E, AC-3U and AC-4U chagers that affects up to 14 million units manufactured by third-parties included with various Nokia models, where the plastic covers of the affected chargers could come loose, separate, and expose the charger’s internal components leading to possible electrical shock .
Nokia has opened a dedicated page which explains the exchange process for those affected by the issue.
