Opera Mini 4.1 Receives Minor Update

Opera Software has released a small update for the latest version of the Opera Mini browser. The update affects a limited number of handsets, and as such, Opera is not updating the version software.

In fact, Opera has stated that if you own any device other than a BlackBerry or Palm phone, you do not need to update. The update fixes small performance and screen drawing issues with both devices.

Also, posted on the Opera Mini web site, are details for configuring the (now discontinued) Java Virtual Machine on the Palm platform, for optimal performance with Opera Mini.

Opera Mini can be downloaded by visiting mini.opera.com from your Java-enabled mobile device.
