Opera has announced that it has released the newest beta version of its venerable Opera Mobile browser for Windows Mobile Pro devices with its newly developed Opera Turbo rendering engine.
Opera Turbo functions by sending pages through a proxy server in the same vein as its Opera Mini offering, but improves upon content delivery speed by a claimed 80% while offering new features such as the Dragonfly web developer toolkit, full web standards compliance, file upload, page caching for offline viewing, pan/zoom support and full support for Opera Widgets.
The 9.7 beta is available now as a free download for Windows Mobile Professional devices running 5.0 up to 6.1.
