Orb Networks today issued Orb update version 2.01.0013. This update makes various improvements, most notably, support for streaming Live TV to Apple’s iPhone. The service is compatible both with EDGE and Wi-Fi connections.
The update enables this by installing the OrbLive application on a jailbroken iPhone. Orb plans to add support for un-modified iPhones with the upcoming iPhone 2.0 software update, available next month.
In addition, the update also makes general improvements to media streaming performance, as well as fixing bugs with ATSC (digital) tuners in Windows Vista. All users are encouraged to update.
To update Orb, you can either download the latest installer manually from Orb.com, or log into Orb MyCast, and select update options from the widget that appears.
