Palm will launch its paid App Catalog starting tomorrow, with Palm Developer Community Manager Chuq Von Rospach admitting that Palm is struggling with the volume of applications received ahead of the launch as many developers had and have not been notified of the status of their application’s inclusion in the first wave of paid applications on Thursday.
To cope with the swarm of applications, Palm has hired more people to test and review applications with a promise to improve communication with developers.

I’m a little disappointed the paid App Catalog did not start yesterday. I’ve read on other sites that possibly next week we’ll see the paid app catalog and the 1.2.1 software upgrade to the Pre.
I’m still hopeful that we will be getting something really soon.
