Palm has issued a software update for the unlocked, unbranded version of the Treo 680. Update Version 1.12 makes several improvements, and Palm suggests all owners of the device update.
Specifically, the update adds Microsoft Direct Push support, improved power management options, added support for high capacity SD (and SDHC) memory cards, and additional ringtone support. The update also includes three previously-released security updates.
