Because of a bug in a LX-550 over-the-air update, you need to go to a Sprint Store to get the latest firmware update. Firmware version LX550V12 is only available in-stores at this time, please call the store before taking the phone in to verify availability.

Bluetooth Tethering Timeout
The phone, when in an active #777 connection, will drop the connection completely if Vision ever goes dormant (inactive for a five second period). The workaround is to open a ping command from the system's respective terminal window (Terminal for OS X, cmd.exe for Windows 2k/XP). For Windows, the proper ping command is "ping -t -l 0 www.somewhere.com" and for Mac, "ping -s 1 www.somewhere.com"
