Tips/Tricks/Hacks

Trick: Boost Your BlackBerry
The BlackBerry 7520 can be used with Boost Mobile service as a prepaid phone. To use data, you must install the RIM 7520 Service Books for the BlackBerry 7520 as you will not be able to sync them over the network. You can restore service books in the BlackBerry Desktop Manager. Because you will not have access to Nextel's MDS BlackBerry server, you will not be able to access push email or RIM-specific tasks, however, general internet access and Phone/PTT usage will work.

You must use a 64k Boost SIM otherwise the BlackBerry may not recognize the SIM card.
