   * Power the phone on
   * Select menu then go to settings
   * Press * followed by 123580
   * Go to NAM programming then hit OK
   * Select NAM 1 and press OK
   * Press OK then enter the MDN followed by OK
   * Go to MIN and hit OK
   * Enter MDN followed by OK
   * Press the left soft key to exit the phone will power cycle and programming is now complete

The Alltel Samsung R500 uses the following programming:

   * Power the phone on
   * Enter ##626#
   * Enter 000000 followed by OK
   * Select NAM Programming
   * Select NAM 1
   * Enter MIN followed OK
   * Enter MDN followed by OK
   * Press the red END key and phone will power cycle, programming is now complete

The CriKet Samsung R500 uses the the same programming as the Alltel but it's subsidy unlock code is: 333333
