  • Qwest Launches EVDO Rev. A Service

    Qwest has announced that it has launched its own branded
    EVDO Rev. A service using Sprint’s network.

    The service, called Qwest
    Mobile Broadband is being offered in three tiers: 500MB at
    $69.99 and Unlimited access at $79.99 per month with a 600MB
    plan also available with a UTStarcom 5750 connection card.

    There is a $20 monthly discount offered for current Qwest customers
    that choose to add the service to their existing Qwest High-Speed
    Internet account with a $50 rebate included for customers with
    qualifying long term service agreements. The card is available at a
    retail price of $209.99, $99.99 with a one year agreement, or $49.99
    with a two year agreement.
