We call it a bug so we don't have to spend three paragraphs explaining the mess to the world. It's not a bug, so it won't be "fixed". It's up to the application author to get their application SIGNED by Motorola. Google's already started with a signed version of Maps, hopefully this will spread to Gmail. Yahoo Go! is signed, as well. Opera has pointedly stated that it's "too hard" for them to get their app signed. Bs.
