RIM Launches BlackBerry Media Sync

RIM has officially launched its long awaited BlackBerry Media Sync application for the 8800, Pearl, and 8300 Curve series of devices.

The application syncs music playlists from Apple’s iTunes (non-DRM files only) and also updates playlists inline with iTunes to make sure that music on the BlackBerry is constantly updated, with the option to manage the amount of music to be made available corresponding to the size of microSD card installed on the device.

The application is now available directly from RIM as a free download.
