RIM & Sprint have announced that BlackBerry OS 5.0 is now available for the BlackBerry Tour.
The update process for the BlackBerry Tour is slightly more extensive, as this is a generational upgrade for the device. The 101 MB upgrade must be downloaded as an installer onto a Windows PC, and then performed over-the-wire. It cannot be performed using the BlackBerry Update web app, currently the web app will only deliver the latest BlackBerry OS 4.0 release.
The update delivers OS 5.0, complete with improved browser, email, and new APIs (features) for BlackBerry App World developers to enhance their applications.

It has completed changed my opinion of the tour. Snapper Performance, Thread SMS, it’s awesome.
This os update is great no bugs so far can’t wait for the 9650…..
