Samsung has launched the long-awaited Windows Mobile 6.1 update for the BlackJack II smart device on AT&T.

The upgrade features A-GPS support through AT&T Navigator, Sliding Panel Interface, Mobile Banking support, along with Internet Connection Sharing, Voice Command and threaded SMS messaging.

Samsung reccomends removal of the SIM card before the update is performed as a precaution along with the requisite backup of all desired information before updating.

I already have a Blackjack II. How do I upgrade from Windows mobile 6.0 to 6.1?

Our Phone Encyclopedia article would be a good starting point…

I attempted to upgrade my BlackJack to 6.1. The software does not run as prescribed in the instructions and the upgrade fails when the app thinks I already have a later version than 6.1. Why would a programmer even write that error into the installation app. this is the latest version.
