According to multiple reports, Simple Mobile will terminate accounts that reach or exceed 1GB of data usage under its $60 Unlimited Everything Nationwide Talk, Text & Web plan. The website does not currently list any limitations on data access for the unlimited plan under the Terms of Service or the Terms and Conditions on its website.
The reports also confirm that the only warnings provided by the virtual operator consist of text messages warning that the account is close to hitting its previously undisclosed data limit for the month and receiving another text message suggesting the purchase of another prepaid card before being terminated.
When going through the process for ordering a new account with the $60 service plan, no mention is made of any limitations on data access, further adding to the confusion. A request for comment has been sent with an update pending receipt of an official response.
