Site Downtime

This site’s host suffered a power-switch failure last night, and was down for several hours. This also took down their phone systems, so it appeared as if they had simply vanished.

I immediately began steps to host the server locally, and had switched the DNS servers to another site to display a “site down” message. The good news is that our host didn’t run away, and everything should be working fine now. Also, I now have a local backup server in case the host goes down again, so there should be little downtime in the future.
