Sprint has introduced a new and potentially useful service for Nextel users that pay for the venerable NextMail email based voice message service.  The service known as NextMail Locator, is developed by Pacific DataVision and allows people to send GPS coordinates to other DirectConnect users with NextMail service as well as including the time/date stamp, street address location and maps.

The service is available for $19.99 on top of DirectConnect and NextMail service and is compatible with the majority of iDEN and PowerSource phones.
