Would you PLEASE update your website? I just wasted time looking
over your "free" phone offer, only to find that Verizon no longer is
offering it. (Written 6-29-09)

"I wish they would let us activate it ourselves and avoid the fee."
Sorry, they are not in the business to give out free phones. It 's just a cost if you want the phone.

Phone itself is free but I hate having to pay the $25 activation fee. I wish they would let us activate it ourselves and avoid the fee.

Is this only for new customers?

Please advise ASAP!

If the $1/day fee (on days the use the phone) is a deal-breaker, there is a flat rate $.25/minute plan as well.

Verizon hasn't put it on their web site, but you can call *611 once you get the phone, to switch to it.
