The HTC Touch Diamond is now available at Best Buy stores in the US as an unlocked device for $699.99. Available in black only, the HSDPA device is listed as “in stock” at most stores, and available to ship from their warehouse within one business day.
The Touch Diamond is Best Buy’s second exclusive sale of an HTC phone. The Touch Dual was the first to be sold exclusively by Best Buy. This also brings to end the brief exclusive that Sprint had on the Touch Diamond (however, Sprint’s Touch Diamond remains an exclusive CDMA phone).

While Best Buy lists it as “in stock at most stores”… I’ve only seen it available in some flagship East Coast stores. I can’t find it on the West Coast. Someone with full-time access to BB’s inventory system would be able to provide more input.
I would note that Reward Zone Premier Silver members do get free standard shipping… ours is on its way already.
