Verizon Launches Push to Talk Application and Service for BlackBerry

Verizon BlackBerry Push to TalkVerizon has quietly rolled out Push to Talk application for all of its BlackBerry models running OS 5.0.

The application required for the service is a free download, with the service being billed at an additional $5 per month on top of the monthly rate plan and allows for group calls with up to 50 participants, Presence support to check availability for Push to Talk calls, online management of Push to Talk contacts and
simultaneous access to web/email while on a Push to Talk call.

you can get the 8350i BB from Nextel and not pay extra and the radio really works…..

Nextel has pis poor coverage and sloooowww data. outdated
