Verizon Motorola V710 Settlement Terms Posted
Though placed on their web site over a month ago, Verizon has finally re-posted their settlement terms for the Motorola V710 class action suit. The settlement does offer a refund of the purchase price of the device and all Verizon accessories, as well as a refund of any early termination fees for people who left Verizon due to the hindered Bluetooth in the V710.
However, the settlement only applies to customers who activated a V710 before 2/1/2005. Customers who do not wish to return their V710 are elegible for $25 only. Verizon has not, and maintains they will not issue a firmware update that enables all of the Bluetooth services that the V710 offers.
