Following its text plan realignment 2 weeks ago, AT&T has also eliminated a little advertised feature that was its own take on the former myCircle and myFaves offerings previously offered by Alltel and T-Mobile respectively in A-List.
Like the aforementioned services, A-List allowed for customers on individual plans to add five frequently called numbers while customers on family plans could add ten numbers that included unlimited calling. The service will be grandfathered for current customers with service plans that include A-List access, but will cease to be offered to new customers.
In place of A-List, AT&T will be increasing awareness of its current Mobile to Any Mobile option automatically included in the $20 unlimited messaging option that lets customers call any mobile number in the country without affecting plan airtime. A statement from AT&T follows at the continue reading link.
With automatic addition at no-cost of AT&T’s Mobile to Any Mobile offer for our wireless customers with an unlimited messaging plan, AT&T A-List is being discontinued for new users. We have seen a very enthusiastic response to the value Mobile to Any Mobile which lets users with an unlimited messaging plan call any mobile number in America, regardless of the wireless provider.
