The popular phone access software, BitPim, has finally reached its 1.0 milestone release. The software has long maintained a position of being “in-development”, but with this version has finally changed to a stable release.
The software, which we’ve reported on since its creation, allows for accessing many Qualcomm-based phones from a broad range of phone manufacturers. The application targets users of all levels, offering calendar and contact synchronization, all the way to advanced filesystem access. The program is well-known for being more-reliable at times than even Qualcomm’s own internal tools (such as QPST) for accessing phones.
BitPim 1.0.0 is available for Mac, Windows, and Linux.
