In a recent press release, Sprint has indicated that they, in conjunction with SEVEN, will be launching Sprint Mobile Email Work enabling users to have access to their corporate email on non-PDA devices including the new Instinct.
Sprint Mobile Email Work will enhance the user experience by having the consumers access Microsoft Exchange Server and Lotus Notes and their personal email. The pricing for the service is included in the Everything plans and the Pro Pack data plan. Sprint Mobile Email Work is preloaded on the Instinct and requires a one time easy set up and allows push email along with the synchronizing of the phone with the mailbox in regards to deleting, replying, composing new emails and showing as read.
11 phones will be supporting Sprint Mobile Email Work in addition to the Instinct –
LG’s Rumor and Fusic.
Motorola’s Razr, Razr 2 and the KRZR.
Samsung’s A900, A900M and M500.
Sanyo’s Katana, Katana II and the 8400.
Sprint will be providing a software update in the coming weeks and for the plans that do no include Sprint Mobile Email Work, one can add it on for $9.99 per month.
