Cingular has begun to fully launch the Z520a. The replacement for the popular mid-range Z500a has many improvements, but trades Class 10 EDGE for Bluetooth and IR. MobiTV has added support for the Sony Ericsson Z500a. However, despite the phone’s support for Class 10 EDGE, MobiTV is only offering the “standard frame-rate experience” for the device. Cingular has fully launched the Z500a as of today. This is Sony Ericsson’s first Class 10 EDGE phone, and will be sold exclusively through Cingular. Price ranges from $249.99 for the full retail price, to free after rebate with a new two-year agreement.

AT&T Wireless just released their initial Q4 rebates. While this is not a complete list of phones released, it does give insight into some of the phones most likely to be released. The rebate lists the following upcoming phones: Motorola V180, Motorola V220, Motorola V505, Sony Ericsson Z500a, and Nokia 3220.
