Sprint is really falling behind in terms of world phones. The Evo 4G and Epic 4G should have also included a GSM/UMTS radio. Hopefully Sprint has some Android world phones in the pipeline.

Only Motorola has achieved a dual-network Android phone to-date, and they probably worked with Google to include code bits from Android 2.3 to do it (similar to how Droid shipped with Android 2.0 first).

Indications are that such a device is already in the works for Sprint, and will likely be supplied by HTC.

The Droid 2 Global should be an awesome phone. GSM/CDMA + a new 1.2ghz processor is worth the $50 upgrade over the basic Droid 2.
